New warning from Rehoboth police, don’t Pokémon GO and drive!

Police in Rehoboth have a new warning for drivers, don’t play Pokémon GO and drive.
This after Rehoboth Beach Police say, Wednesday just after 12:00 AM, 28-year-old Mark Oldenburg, crashed into a marked patrol car. According to reports, Oldenburg was driving in the right lane on the second block Rehoboth Avenue, next to the officer who was in the left lane. When Oldenburg’s wife directed him to pull into a median parking space because there was a Pokémon Gym in that direction her reportedly did so, but didn’t check his surroundings causing him to crash into the officer’s patrol car next to him. Officials say, both vehicles sustained damage but no one was injured.
Oldenburg was reportedly cited with one count each for inattentive driving and improper turn.
The Rehoboth Beach Police Department asks that if you are going to play Pokémon GO, do not do so while driving.
