Millsboro man reportedly arrested for stealing from purses

The Rehoboth Beach Police Department says they arrested a man, on Wednesday, after he stole from two victims’ purses.
RBPD reportedly got a call about a stolen wallet on Monday, taken while the victim was inside the South Beach Arcade on the Boardwalk.
Officers say they contacted employees of the arcade, and got surveillance footage of the theft, which showed a man take the victim’s wallet from her purse while she was in the arcade photo booth.
The wallet reportedly contained identification cards, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
Then, on Wednesday, around 4:40 PM, RHPD says they received another report of theft from a purse, also taken while the victim was inside the South Beach Arcade.
Officers reportedly worked with arcade employees, again, to obtain surveillance images of the suspect who officers recognized from the previous theft on Monday.
This suspect was apparently identified as Eian Stradley, 32, of Millsboro. Officers say they began searching the area Stradley, and found him in the Royal Farms on Rehoboth Avenue, with the help of the Dewey Beach Police Department.
Stradley was reportedly arrested, and charged with one count of theft under $1500 and one count of theft of lost or mislaid property under $1500. Both charges are class A misdemeanors.
Officials say Stradley was released on $1000.00 unsecured bail. The money stolen in these cases apparently totaled less than $500.00.
