Information sought after apparent pistol whip incident in Easton

Police in Easton say they are investigating an armed robbery, during which a man was pistol whipped.

The Easton Police Department says officers were sent out around 12:10 AM Thursday morning, to South Hanson Street in Easton in reference to a robbery.

Officers say that the investigation revealed a man was walking in an alley off of South Hanson when he was approached by two other men. One of the men allegedly pulled out a gun, telling the man who was walking, to get on the ground.

The report then states the armed suspect then grabbed the victim’s shirt and pistol whipped him on the head. The two men who approached the victim allegedly took his phone and wallet before running away. Officials say that the victim refused medical treatment.
