Gold Alert in place for missing Milton Man

A Gold Alert has been put in place for a Milton Man who is missing.

The Delaware State Police say that they are issuing the Alerrt for 26-year-old Benjamin M. Whitaker, of Milton, who was reportedly last seen at his home on Sawgrass Road, Wednesday night, around 9PM.

Troopers say they have not been able to reach Benjamin to check on his well-being. They also say that they have tried to find out where he is and they have been unsuccessful. There is reportedly a real concern for his safety and welfare.

If anyone has any information on where Whitaker might be, they are asked to call Troop 7 at 302-644-5020, Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or visit the Crime Stoppers website. Police also say that anonymous tips can be sent through text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
