Glen Riddle tops Aaron’s in OT Thriller

Week six of the Maryland Supreme Summer League featured a potential deep playoff preview when Glen Riddle topped Aaron’s 50-45 in overtime.

Tyree Thornton of Aaron’s led all scorers with 15 points. Down three with just six seconds to go, Aaron’s Tyrone Matthews would drive the length of the floor and nail a three to send the game into overtime. In the overtime, Glen Riddle would assert themselves, getting a clutch three pointer from Devonta Dixon (9 points) and a couple of tough buckets from Matt Lowe. Lowe would finish with 10 points to lead Glen Riddle.

The final week of the regular season begins next Thursday, July 22nd, with games beginning at 6:30 pm at the Worcester County Recreational Center.
