DSP looking to identify suspect in Felton gas station robbery

Delaware State Police say they are investigating a robbery that took place early Tuesday morning.

Around 3:20 AM, an armed robbery was reported at the Canterbury Shore Stop, on South DuPont Highway, in Felton. Officials say a male suspect entered the gas station, and was armed with an unknown make and model handgun.

According to the report, the suspect confronted the male clerk behind the sales counter, and demanded money from the register. Officials say that the clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect then left the store heading north. The clerk was reportedly not injured in the incident.

Investigators state that the suspect is male, around 5’08”-5’11”, approximately 160 pounds, average build, and a has a bald head. The suspect was reportedly last seen wearing a grey t-shit, black shorts, dark colored sneakers, and had a white t-shirt wrapped around his head.
