Dorchester County Schools approve lunch price increase

Starting this fall, Dorchester County Public Schools has announced that lunch prices will be increased.

The Board of Education of Dorchester County reportedly approved a $0.25 price rise for their lunch meals.

So, this means that an Elementary School lunch will change from $2.40 to $2.65, and the Middle/High School student lunch will go from $2.65 to $2.90.

According to the Superintendent’s Office, this change will take effect on August 24.
