Del. State Police searching for robbery suspect

Delaware State Troopers are seeking public assistance in helping them identify a robbery suspect in Laurel.
Police say a 22-year-old male was leaving the Five Points Liquor Store around 6 p.m. Wednesday, when he as approached by the man believed to be the suspect (as seen in photo above). The victim was then apparently asked by the suspect if he had a cigarette to spare. After the victim gave him one, the suspect allegedly followed him towards Woodland Ferry Road.
Just before reaching the little league park, the suspect asked the victim for a dollar before allegedly snatching the victim’s wallet from his hands. We’re told after a brief struggle, the suspect got away with the victim’s wallet.
DSP says the victim was uninjured in the incident.
