Del. fugitive arrested almost a year after suspected armed robbery

Police in Dover say a Delaware man on the run for almost a year has been taken into custody.

Dover Police Department say, 20-year-old Jaimere Wayman of Harrington was arrested without incident Monday, at a home on South Governors Avenue.

On the night of August 24th, 2015 Wayman reportedly robbed two female victims at the Pine Grove Apartments in Dover. Police say Wayman approached the victims with a knife and handgun and demanded a purse that was in their possession. He then reportedly fled the area as police arrived. Police say a search of the area, located the purse and a handgun.

Wayman is being charged with first degree robbery, second degree conspiracy, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, and resisting arrest. He is being held on a $95,000 cash bond.
