Cambridge man accused of breaking into home and assaulting resident

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a wanted man on Tuesday, in connection with a burglary and assault investigation.
According to the report, 32-year-old Johnathan Matthew Towers, of Cambridge, was wanted in regards to an incident that happened on June 16, on Moores Avenue.
Officials say that Towers kicked in a door on a home and then assaulted someone inside.
Towers has reportedly been charged with third degree burglary, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment, second degree assault, and malicious destruction of property over $300. Officials say that he was incarcerated on $15,000 bond.
