Armed robbers invade Bridgeville home

Delaware state police say two masked men forcefully broke into  a Bridgeville home on  the 11,000 block of Iris Field Lane.  Police say two males entered the home armed with unknown types of handguns.

When they demanded cash, the 33 year old victim reportedly said he didn’t have any.  After the brief verbal exchange, troopers say the victim was struck in the back of a head with a gun and kicked while on the ground. Investigators say the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the residence in an unknown direction.

The male victim had initially refused medical treatment, but a family member later took him to the area hospital where he was treated and released.  The suspects are described only as black males, with no further description.  Detectives believe that this was not a random act.

Anyone with information is asked to call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
