(AP) – Two Claymont teenagers have been accused of shooting paintballs at people and cars in the Wilmington area.

Delaware State Police said in a news release Tuesday that 18-year-old Cameron Ward and 18-year-old Robert Rosa both face reckless endangering, conspiracy and drug charges.

Troopers had been investigating several reports of paintball shootings throughout July when they learned of another incident late Friday.

A driver told police he was shot with a paintball and while attempting to get the vehicle’s license plate, he was run off the road.

The next night police spotted the suspected vehicle and made a traffic stop. Troopers say a search revealed marijuana inside the car.

Ward and Rosa were arrested. Two other passengers were cited for marijuana possession.

It isn’t clear if Ward and Rosa have attorneys.
