Women’s Mobile Health Screening unveils new van

A brand new Women’s Mobile Health Screening Van is all set to hit the road in Delaware.

The new set of wheels was unveiled Tuesday morning. The WMHS program has operated a mammography van for more than a decade.

However, it combines digital imaging equipment and health professionals from Beebe Medical Center. Low-income and uninsured women can gain access to mammograms, cervical screenings, colorectal and lung cancer screenings through the Screening for Life program and other programs through the division of public health.
