UPDATE: Verizon worker killed in Little Heaven crash

Members of the Delaware State Police say one man was killed after being pinned to his work truck when he was struck by a car.
State Police say the driver of a Mitsubishi, Zachary Krytzer, was reportedly seen by witnesses swerving in and out of both southbound lanes on Route 1.
At around 1:55 PM, Police say Verizon employe Heath Janssen had completed a check of phone lines under a manhole cover, when he returned to stand behind his work truck and return equipment.
Troopers say the truck was surrounded by cones North of the entrance to a nearby Valero Gas station.
Police say Krytzer drifted onto the southbound shoulder and struck a mailbox and then a road reflector before striking and pinning Janssen to the back of the truck.
Following that, toopers say the Verizon truck was pushed forward approximately 36 ft. on the southbound shoulder, and the Mitsubishi continued an additional 23 ft. before coming to a stop.
Police say Heath Janssen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators add the Krytzer was properly restrained. He was reportedly taken to Bayhealth Kent General via ambulance, where he is currently admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.
State Police say they are continuing this investigation, and charges are forthcoming.
Route 1 southbound was closed at Clapham Road for three and a half hours while the crash was investigated and cleared.
