Two women arrested for allegedly distributing heroin, crack cocaine

Authorities say two women were taken into custody early Wednesday evening after they were found with heroin and crack cocaine.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Anna Holland of Salisbury, was stopped for speeding on Branch Street in Mardela Springs. We’re told 38-year-old Holly Lynch of Snow Hill, also occupied the car.

While conducting the stop, deputies reportedly suspected the two were engaging in drug activity. After a search of the vehicle, we’re told police found heroin and crack cocaine, packaged for alleged distribution.

Holland was apparently taken to the Detention Center, where she is being held on $75,000 bond.

We’re told Lynch is still awaiting an appearance in front of the District Court Commissioner.

Police say Holland and Lynch face the following charges: Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of Crack Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute.
