Tropical Storm Colin

As of Sunday, June 5th, Tropical Depression Three has become Tropical Storm Colin.
Colin currently has sustained winds of 40 mph and according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), it has deep convection that extends from the southeastern Gulf of Mexico southwards across western Cuba. It is currently moving northward at 9 mph and heading towards Florida.
Tropical Storm Colin is expected to remain a storm (wind speeds between 39 mph and 73 mph) as it approaches the west coast of Florida, late on Monday. Areas along the western coast are currently under Tropical Storm Watches and Warnings.
Colin is expected to produce 3 to 5 inches of rain with isolated areas possibly receiving maximum totals of 8 inches across northeastern Yucatan peninsula, western Cuba and Florida.
