Teachers honored at “Teachers Who Make A Difference” lunch

“Teachers Who Make a Difference” winners were honored at a luncheon on Thursday at Perdue Stadium. Accurate Optical was the main sponsor for the event, and Kitty’s Flowers provided flowers for all the teachers.

47 ABC spoke with Jennifer Briddell-Shores of Accurate Optical and she says they are so honored to sponsor it year after year. Briddell-Shores tells 47 ABC, “It’s a great opportunity to award very deserving teachers who have received the award through the 2015-2016 school year and we just love the idea of being able to give some kind of recognition to the teachers in the community that are so very deserving.”

But the teachers weren’t the only ones being honored, 47 ABC also awarded Accurate Optical. Briddell-Shores tells 47 ABC they’ve sponsoring the event for so long that its really become a part of their business and they are so honored to have gotten the recognition.
