SB90 “Rylie’s Law” passes Delaware House

DE Senate Bill 90, better known as Rylie’s Law, has passed the Delaware House and is on its way to Governor Jack Markell’s desk for final approval.
Sen. Ernie Lopez tells 47ABC says 40 Representatives voted for the bill today, none against, with one absence. The bill passed unanimously in the State Senate last week.
This law will allow eligible children to use medical marijuana oil on school grounds and on school buses.
The bill was inspired by Rylie Maedler, a local child suffering from a debilitating case of Epilepsy, whose parents have to take her out of school so she can take her medicine.
