Salisbury Zoo to host 4th Friday event June 24

A local zoo is gearing up for their once a month, extra hours event. The Salisbury Zoo says on Friday, June 24 from 4:30 until 7:30 PM, the zoo will be staying open late for their 4th Friday event.

The extended hours of the event gives visitors a chance to visit the zoo after hours, plus participate in all sorts of fun activities. Officials say The Ward Museum and The Art Institute and Gallery will offer “Wild Art” activities. The Zoo staff will be out and about to provide education animal encounters.

Some of the activities may involve a small fee, however Eva Whipple of Soul Yoga in Salisbury, will be hosting free yoga! She will be doing yoga for children and adults. Some mats will be provided, bring your own if you have one!
