Salisbury woman arrested for DUI with child reportedly in back seat

A Salisbury woman was arrested over the weekend after police say she was found passed out behind the wheel of a car with a small child in the back.
On Saturday at 2:30 AM a deputy reportedly responded to a report of a possible driver in distress on Phillips Road. Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found a Volkswagen Passat stuck on top of a log adjacent to a driveway. Officials say the driver identified as 25-year-old Amber Lee, appeared to be asleep lying across the center console. A small child was also reportedly asleep in the back seat. Lee was reportedly woken up by the officer who says they detected a strong odor of alcoholic coming from her. A sobriety test was reportedly performed which ended with the arrest of Lee.
On further discovered the deputy says the five-year-old child in the back seat was neither in a car seat or seat belted in.
Lee has been charged with a DUI and a DUI while transporting a minor. She was detained in lieu of $5,000 bond.
