Salisbury man charged with assault of roomate

A Salisbury man is facing charges, after he apparently assaulted a woman in her home.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on June 2, 43-year-old Derrick Wynn woke up a woman that he lives with at a home on Olivia Street. According to the report, the two were arguing, before it turned physical.

Investigators say Wynn assaulted the woman, and ripped her pants, as he was trying to remove them. The Deputy says they found signs of the struggle, including the ripped pants, and took Wynn into custody.

He was charged with assault second degree, and malicious destruction of property. Wynn was later ordered to be held at the Wicomico County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
