Salisbury man arrested on assault charges

A Salisbury man is facing charges, after Police say he choked a woman, punched her, and threatened her with a baseball bat.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on June 7, a Deputy arrested 44-year-old Kevin White, on assault charges. According to the report, at a home on Jersey Road, in Salisbury, White was arguing with a woman, before it turned physical.

Investigators say White started choking the woman before punching her in the nose. He then apparently kicked her, before swinging a baseball bat, all while threatening to kill her, according to the police report.

After his arrest, White was charged with assault first and second degree, false imprisonment, reckless endangerment, and deadly weapon. He was then turned over to the Wicomico County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
