Riders Top Cavs To Advance To Title!

The Caesar Rodney girls soccer team defeated Middltown 2-1 on Wednesday night to advance to the DIAA State Championship game. The Riders will now face Padua on Friday.

The Riders would jump out to a 1-0 lead early on after getting a goal from Jessie Prillaman off a beautiful through ball from Kim Glasser. The lead would then get puched to 2-0 in the second half after Lynsy Gruwell would get out in a breakaway, and fire far post for a score. The Cavaliers would get one back late, but could never get completely back over the deficit.
