19-year-old Thadius Johnson, of Milton, and 26-year-old Victoria Bolen, of Delmar, Del.

Police in Milford say they have arrested a Milton man, who was found to be running through a crowded apartment complex armed with a gun, while children were nearby.

Milford Police say on Saturday just after 12:00 PM, Officers responded to the Mispillion Apartment Complex for a report of a man with a handgun running in the parking lot of the complex displaying the handgun towards several adults and children. Once on scene, Officers say they were able to identify the man as 19-year-old Thadius Johnson, and set up a perimeter, to search for him, after he was seen running towards the back of the complex.

Investigators say with the help of Delaware State Police Aviation, and a DSP K-9 unit, they found Johnson hiding inside of a bush next to an apartment building within the complex. Johnson was then taken into custody, during which Police say they found heroin drug paraphernalia on him. Police say during their investigation, they learned that 26-year-old Victoria Bolen, of Delmar, was also involved in the incident.

The two had apparently been together before the incident, and then Police say Bolen tried to give Officers false information about Johnson, as he was attempting to flee and hide from Police.

After his arrest, Johnson was charged with three counts of aggravated menacing, conspiracy second degree, three counts of reckless endangering second degree, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. He was also wanted on six active capiases out of Sussex County Family Court, and Sussex County Court of Common Pleas. Johnson was arraigned, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institute, on a $30,697 secured bond.

Bolen was charged with conspiracy second degree, hindering prosecution and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later arraigned, and released on $3,200 unsecured bond.
