Troopers in Delaware are searching for a Millsboro man, who they say stole a golf cart from someone during a golf game, before then stealing their truck.

Delaware State Police say on Monday around 11:15 AM, a man was actively playing golf at Baywood Greens on Clubhouse Way, in Millsboro, when someone stole his golf cart. Investigators say the man, later identified as 26-year-old Nathan Lewandowski, drove the golf cart off the golf course toward the parking lot.

According to the report, once in the parking lot, Lewandowski took a set of keys from the cart, and used the key fob to locate the victim’s truck. Police say Lewandowski then got into the truck, and drove off. The truck was eventually found in Camden, New Jersey, according to investigators.

Police say they believe that Lewandowski may still be in that area. Lewandowski is now wanted on several offenses including possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, burglary second, four counts of theft, and offensive touching, from three other separate incidents in and around the Long Neck area that occurred over the course of June.

State Police are asking anyone who may have information about Lewandowski’s whereabouts to contact Detective R. Mills at 302-752-3800 and Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be sent via text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
