Milford man charged with rape in sex abuse investigation of two juveniles

Members of the Milford Police Department say investigators from the Criminal Division arrested and charged Edgar Arreaga-Bravo, 36, of Milford, in connection with sexual assaults of juveniles dating back to 2005.

Police say the incidents began in June 2005, and lasted until June 8, 2016. They reportedly involved an eight-year-old female and a 14-year-old female (ages in 2005).

According to investigators, Arreaga-Bravo committed the crimes at residences in the Milford area.

47 ABC will withhold those locations for protection of the victims’ identities.

Arreaga-Bravo has been charged with three counts of first-degree Rape of a Victim less than 12 years old, third-degree Rape of a Victim less than 14 years old, Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, third-degree Unlawful Sexual Contact, and first-degree Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person of Trust.

Milford PD say Bravo was committed to Sussex Correctional Institute in default of $300,400.00 cash bond.
