Maryland Supreme Kicks off Summer League Basketball Season

The Maryland Supreme Summer League started their summer season today with the addition to three new teams. Sussex Elite (Indian River), Delmarva Defenders (Sussex Tech), and Glen Ridge (WiHi). Hill Top (Snow Hill) rejoins for a second straight year while Maryland Supreme (Stephen Decatur), Aaron’s (Pocomoke), Shore Shots (Crisfield), and Hard Work (Washington) are in their 4th year.

Just a couple of the game that were played today.

Shore Shots squared off against Sussex Elite. This game started off slow with both teams trying to figure out their groove, but it was the Shore shots who figured that out early and they were able to top Sussex Elite 39-22.

Following that game was Maryland Supreme vs Hard Work.

This game started off with both teams scoring and it was a very close game. They were able to keep it a little close until after the first half where Maryland Supreme started running away with it. They ended up winning 44-35.

Summer League Play continues on June 16th.
