Man arrested in connection to Delmar, Parsonsburg-area burglaries

Members of the Wicomico County Bureau of Investigation say they have arrested Christopher Manger, 34, in connection to several burglaries reported in and around the Delmar/Parsonsburg area of Wicomico County.

Investigators say the reports of stolen property began in the first two weeks of June. This prompted WBI members and the Community Action Team to conduct target enforcement and patrols in the areas where the called were placed.

Through the patrols and investigation, investigators pinpointed possible suspect vehicles.

During a traffic stop on Thursday, police say they pulled Manger over around 2:30 P.M. and discovered he had been driving on a suspended license. WBI officials say he was arrested, and through further investigation discovered several stolen items were in his possession.

Beyond that, investigators say they obtained a search warrant and searched Manger’s home, where more items were discovered.

Police say Manger was charged in connection with multiple burglaries and taken to the Wicomico County Detention Center.

WBI officials also ask anyone with information regarding the recent burglaries, contact Detective Robert Wilson of the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation at 410-548-4898.
