Harrington woman charged with terroristic threatening

A wanted Harrington woman, is facing more charges, in connection to an incident that happened earlier in the spring.

Harrington Police say in May 2016 Officers responded to a home on Center Street, where two people told Police that 46-year-old Tammy Irizarry, were arguing, when Irizarry threatened to harm both victims, and then left. Irizarry apparently later showed up at the victim’s home on Dorman Street, where she reportedly continued to harass them, before again taking off. Police say they took out warrants for Irizarry’s arrest, but never found her.

On Sunday, Police say they were again contacted by one of the victims, who said that Irizarry was again at their home on Dorman Street. Officers say they then responded to the home, and were able to taken Irizarry into custody.

She was then taken to the Harrington Police Department for processing, where it was discovered that she had active capias out of Kent County Court of Common Pleas and Justice of the Peace Court 11, for failing to appear at both courts for criminal trials relating to shoplifting and criminal mischief charges. Irizarry was then charged with two counts of terroristic threatening, and one count of harassment.

She was then arraigned, and given a $2,500 unsecured bond and $200 secured bond, and turned over to the custody of the Sussex Correctional Institute.
