Governor Markell defends Hillary Clinton’s integrity

Hillary Clinton has locked up the Democratic nomination for President, now facing off with Donald Trump in the general election. 47ABC caught up with Delaware Governor Jack Markell on Wednesday and spoke with him about the general election.
Markell, a Democrat himself, sang high praises of the Democratic nominee, saying that he believes Clinton could hit the ground running and make a difference from day one. Many times on the campaign trail, Clinton’s integrity has been questioned, but Governor Markell was asked about it and put the question to rest saying “I think she has an incredible track record of fighting for other people and fighting for the most vulnerable. And to me and I think that has been a constant really before she was the first lady of Arkansas.”
Markell also briefly touched on the GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump, saying building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico would not be good for the American Economy because over the next few decades much of the wealth will come from foreign countries like Mexico through trade.
