Free immigration workshop to come to Salisbury

Immigrants on the Lower Eastern Shore in need of legal assistance will get it for free on Friday through a workshop with the Maryland State Bar Association.

The immigration section of the association is bringing twenty attorney’s to the Trinity Tabernacle Church and Community Center, it’s the first time they’ve ever done this in this area.

Translators speaking about eight different languages will be on hand to help. Attendees can get assistance with residency, immigration scams, deferred action for childhood arrivals, and worker’s visa’s, just to name a few….

Pastor Daniel Appleby says, “I do not want people to be afraid of coming. There’s a large element of fear in the immigration community. We’re not trying to set you up for anything. We really only want to help.”

For registration information on the immigration workshop call Pastor Daniel Appleby at 443-859-5987.
