Del. officials launch ‘health car innovation’ plan

Over the next six months, Delaware health officials will be introducing the state’s health care innovation plan through monthly community forums.
The forums will include a panel of speakers who are expected to address different aspects of health care delivery. This includes, but is not limited to access to electronic medical records and expanded doctors’ hours.
The first meeting was held Tuesday in Georgetown. We’re told the next one will be held at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover on July 11.
As of Tuesday, concrete dates and times for upcoming community forums had not been set yet; however, officials have plans of holding meetings in all three counties:
Late July: Newark
August: Middletown
September: Seaford
October: Wilmington
