DE Coalition Against Gun Violence creates new voter guide

The Delaware Coalition Against Gun Violence is working to publish the state’s first ever voter information guide to gun safety issues.
It’ll be distributed to voters in Delaware this summer ahead of the state primary.
The guide will display the positions candidates for state and legislative offices have on a variety of gun safety issues.
It will also display incumbent candidates voting history on the same subject. Liane Sorenson, the education chair of the coalition says she created these guides in the General Assembly for more than 20 years and is confident they’ll be effective.
Sorenson says, “I can remember people telling me ‘I’m voting for you because I saw such and such guide that you voted the right way’ so I think they’re helpful, I think they’re effective and so we want to do one.”
Delaware’s state primary is September 13th.
