Child rescued from water at Wico. Tourist Info. Center

Salisbury Fire Department officials have confirmed with 47 ABC that a 6-year-old boy was rescued from the water outside of the Wicomico County Tourist Center.
Assistant Fire Chief Darrin Scott says the boy was rescued from the water prior to medics and firefighters from Salisbury and Delmar arriving on the scene.
Once authorities were on scene, Scott says they administered CPR on the boy, who was then taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Scott says the child’s condition had improved by the time he was transported, and he is alive.
The investigation beyond this point is reportedly being handled by Maryland State Police, which have yet to respond to further questions about the incident.
