Chicks improve to 3-5, quiet Thunder
The Perdue Chicks improved to 3-5 on the season, defeating the Thunder 8-0 on Thursday night at the Henry S. Parker Complex in Salisbury.
Nick Forbush, DJ Doherty, and Tomiko Saez were amongst Chicks that drove in runs on the night, while Bryan Bloch got the win on the mound. Kris Bounds would come on in the ninth for the save. For the Thunder, Mason Elzey took the loss.
The Chicks look to improve on their record on Sunday when they take on Tri-County, while the Thunder look for their first win on Friday, taking on the State Line Strutters.
