Authorities searching for walkway inmate in Dover

Law enforcement in Delaware says they are looking for an inmate, who didn’t return from an authorized work pass.
The Delaware Department of Correction says 26-year-old Curtis Brown didn’t returned to the Morris Community Corrections Center in Dover, after leaving on an authorized work pass. Authorities say attempts to find Brown have been unsuccessful, so his status has been changed to escapee.
Brown is described as a black man, standing 5′ 9″ tall, weighing 163 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. He apparently has a goatee. Brown was apparently serving time for a violation of probation on a burglary third degree charge. His last known address was in Felton.
Officials say Level 4 facilities are for offenders who are transitioning back into the community, and are not secured like level 5 prisons. Offenders are allowed to leave the building for work, to look for a job, or attend approved treatment sessions.
Anyone with information about Brown’s whereabouts is asked to contact 1-800-542-9524 or local authorities.
