Acorn Market back open for business

A local eatery in the Salisbury area is back open for business.

The Acorn Market officially opened its doors Wednesday at its new location in downtown Salisbury.

The restaurant, located on 150 West Market Street, prides itself on healthy dishes served fast.

Store owner Christine Braughler tells us the company has been around for nine years and has been under new management for three years. They reported closed their Main Street location in May in order to find a bigger location; however, customer favorites are still available.

“We actually kept our original menu,” says Braughler. “We’ve also added specials, they change daily. The same soup will actually last through the week, so we have a choice of three soups.”

Braughler says business went exceptionally well on Wednesdays thanks to social media.
