6-0 for WicomicO

The Wicomico baseball team stayed perfect on the year after rolling to another impressive win over Somerset 12-2. The win improves Wicomico to 6-0.

Somerset would strike first in the top of the first after getting a run off a pass ball, but it didn’t take very long for Wicomico to answer. Michael Jean-Charles would rope a RBI double to center to score Lebron Hilliard. That was followed by a RBI single from Cole Lambrose that would plate Jean-Charles to give Wicomico the lead. Somerset would answer in the top of the 2nd after getting a RBI single from Hutner Hickman that would score Derek Dize. But it would be all Wicomico from there. Jean-Charles would send a shot deep to right for a sac fly in the bottom of the 2nd to get it started. That was followed by a RBI single from Ben Davis, and then a bases loaded walk drawn by Hilliard. Tyler Dunn would come in on relief and close the door for the win for Wicomico.
