Wicomico Co. offering discount amusement park tickets

A local county is hoping to save families some money this summer, by offering a discount on amusement park tickets.

Wicomico County says they are selling discount amusement park tickets at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Those interested can purchase their tickets before heading out of town, save money, and skip the line.

Officials say they are offering tickets to many Mid-Atlantic parks: Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Diggerland USA, Dorney Park, Dutch Wonderland, Hershey Park, Kings Dominion, Sahara Sam’s, Sesame Place, Six Flags America – Maryland, and Six Flags Great Adventure – New Jersey. See detailed list below. All ticket prices are apparently at a discounted price compared to what you would spend purchasing the tickets at the gate.

Tickets can be purchased Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office on Glen Avenue in Salisbury. Sales continue now, until September 2. For more information, call the WY&CC at 410-548-4911.
