Wanted man arrested in Milford

Milford police have arrested and charged 21 year old Kovoun Cannon of Lincoln, Del. stemming from a traffic stop on April 27th.  A Milford Police officer observed a traffic violation just after midnight and pulled Cannon over.  Further investigation revealed that the officer was provided a fake name, and that Cannon was in possession of a fully loaded handgun. 

The officer brought the K-9 in to “sniff” the vehicle, and positively alerted the officer of the presence of drugs.  Police say 13 grams of marijuana were in Cannon’s possession, and he was then arrested. 

Authorities say Cannon is charged with Possession with intent to deliver Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Criminal Impersonation, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Cannon was also wanted out of both Kent and Sussex County courts.
