Virginia offers guide to assist those dealing with missing persons

The state of Virginia is now offering assistance to those who are dealing with missing family members, through a resource guide. Back in 2014 the Virginia State Crime Commission conducted a study on missing persons and search and rescue teams and later asked the Department of Criminal Justice Services to write such a guide.
The brochure includes resources to call when your child goes missing, what exactly to do in the moment, actions your family could take as well as setting expectations.
The brochure is printable and can be found on the Department of Criminal Justice website, which is: http://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/victims/documents/missingpersonguide_brochure.pdf
