UPDATE: Victim identified in Greenbackville fatal crash

A Delaware man has been identified as the sole victim in a single car crash in Accomack County Wednesday night.

According to Virginia State Police, the crash happened around 8:20 PM. Reportedly a 2012 Toyota Prius was driving northbound on Davey Jones Drive north of Route 679 in Greenbackville. That’s when for unknown reasons, the drive 66-year-old Kenneth Wolhar, of Delaware, allegedly ran off the road and struck a tree. Troopers say he died upon impact.

Troopers also report, alcohol did not play a factor in the crash and it is undetermined at this time if Wolhar was wearing his seatbelt.
