Single vehicle crash in Greenbackville kills 1

Members of the Virginia State Police say they are currently investigating a single vehicle accident, which has resulted in at least one fatality.

Troopers say the crash occurred at approximately 8:22 PM Wednesday along the 37000 block of Davey Jones Blvd. in the Greenbackville area.

As of about 9:45 PM, Sgt. Michelle Anaya says Troopers are on scene investigating. No word yet on any other injuries, or whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
