Senators finish off regular season with dominant win over IR

The Dover Senators baseball team capped off a 16-2 regular season on Thursday afternoon, defeating Indian River 14-1 in 5 innings.

Dover starting pitcher Garrett Lawson went 4 innings, strikings out 9 batters. Jordan Hutchins finished 3-4 with 2 triples and 4 RBIs on the day. Dmitri Floyd had two hits with an RBI, while Jarvis Worthy finished 3-3, scoring three times. For IR,  Zane Richard had an RBI single.

The Senators now await their seed in the DIAA Baseball tournament. Indian River finishes the season at 4-14.
