Sea Gulls Triple Up Tigers

The Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team rolled to the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday when they defeated Colorado College 16-5. The Sea Gulls will now play in the National Quarterfinals on Wednesday.

The Tigers would grab a quick lead as Tyler Borko would find the back of the net less than 7 minutes into the game. The Sea Gulls however would have a quick answer. Goals from Nathan Blondino, Nick Garbarino and James Burton would all score in the first quarter to give the home team a 3-1 lead to the second. SU would keep it going in the second quarter as Carson Kalama would add a pair of scores to help them to a 6 goal halftime lead. The Gulls continued to pile it on from there, as they would outscore the Tigers 3-0 in the third to put the game away.
