Salisbury’s Zoo getting a new look

The Salisbury Zoo is getting a makeover! Construction is underway on the newest section to be added, the “Experience Australia Exhibit”. Officials say new animals will also be brought to the exhibit for guests to enjoy.

The visitors center is undergoing total demolition and will be changed into a reptile house. We’re told the zoo is also set to have new zones. 47 ABC spoke with Mary Seemann of the Zoo and she tells us, “We’re sort of creating private experiences where people can go in and really feel that you’re in Australia, feel that you’re in South America, feel that you’re in North America.”

The Australia exhibit is expected to be finished in about 6 months.
