Salisbury Women’s Lacrosse captures CAC title

The Salisbury women’s lacrosse team captured their 16th Capital Athletic Conference title in program history, defeating St. Mary’s 12-5 on Saturday afternoon at Sea Gull Stadium.

Megan Wallenhorst led Salisbury in points on the day, registering two goals and three assists in the win. Gabbi Nieves posted three goals, while attack Dana King posted one goals and two assists. Hannah Young also registered two goals for the Gulls.

The Sea Gulls earn the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA tournament and will await their opponent.
