Salisbury woman wanted on escape charges arrested

A wanted Salisbury woman was arrested on Monday, after she was found on a vacant property.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on Monday around 1:00 AM, a Deputy responded to a property on Burnt Branch Drive, for reports of people being at a vacant house.
Once on scene, the Deputy says they found four people, including 33-year-old Sheena Williams, who was apparently wanted on an escape warrant. Law enforcement says the warrant is from April, when Williams didn’t show up at the Wicomico County Detention Center to serve her conviction for theft.
Williams was taken into custody on the warrant, during which the Deputy found cocaine in her bra. She was then charged with possession of cocaine, and escape second degree.
She was seen by the District Court Commissioner, and ordered to be held on a $3,000 bond for the cocaine charge, and without bond for the escape warrant.
