Salisbury house fire remains under investigation

The cause of a Salisbury house fire is under investigation. The Office of the State Fire Marshal says a passerby discovered the fire at the Cedar Way home, around 10:30 PM on Thursday.

Officials say 20 firefighters from the Salisbury Fire Department responded to the scene, and had the flames under control in a half hour. The structure was apparently a one story wood framed, vacant single family dwelling, that was under renovation.

No injuries were reported, but damages are estimated to total $31,000. Investigators say both where the fire started, and just what caused it.
