Parkside girls lax gets even with Bennett to advance in playoffs

The Parkside Rams girls lacrosse team avenged an early loss to cross-town rival James M. Bennett and defeated the Clippers 7-5 on Thursday afternoon.

Attack Liza Ervin led Parkside with two goals as six different Rams scored at least one goal. Kaitlyn Morris had two assists and a goal for Parkside in the win.

The Rams advance in the MPSSAA girls lacrosse 2A/3A Section II semifinal, where they will take on Stephen Decatur on Friday.
